About me

My name is Sinead Tully, and I have over 12 years of experience in publishing, specialising in rights, permissions, and contracts. I have worked across a wide range of content, including non-fiction trade, professional, specialist, and academic works. Throughout my career, I’ve held key rights roles at Bloomsbury Publishing, I.B. Tauris, and Quarto Publishing, which has given me a deep understanding of UK, US, and international markets.

Over the years, I have built and maintained a vast network of publishing contacts worldwide, negotiating deals across multiple territories and licensing formats. My expertise in rights has allowed me to collaborate closely with key publishing departments—including editorial, production, sales, and marketing—ensuring seamless licensing and distribution. I have extensive experience in co-edition and licensing deals across all territories, covering translations, audio, and film & TV adaptations. Additionally, I have managed and mentored rights teams, led high-profile rights initiatives, and worked on integrating acquisitions into existing workflows to improve efficiency.
